The wines then descend to the second year barrel room, which is protected by a cupola made of thin strips of native raulí wood. Located at the foot of a hill, the soil offers the perfect balance between excellent drainage and water retention, which allows the vine roots to reach deep into the earth to obtain sufficient water without the need for artificial irrigation systems.
