Situated at the foot of the Andes and at the entrance to the Colchagua Valley, the Koyle Winery brings together a unique combination of elements - hillside vineyards, a volcanic rock soil and a biodynamic philosophy - which makes it one of the not to be missed wineries of the Ruta del Vino. In addition, the biological corridors of native flora and an ecological reserve of 1,000 hectares together with the presence of sheep, geese, chickens and other animals give both the place and its wine a special identity.
Cristóbal Undurraga, Koyle Winery winemaker and viticulturist, lives at the vineyard and day after day seeks to conduct the perfect harmony between the vineyard and winery to create unique and elegant wines. Koyle´s 13 red varieties are grown on an ideal rocky terrain with a perfect drainage which, in tandem with the influence of the Andes mountain range, create perfect conditions for the vines.
